How to select an attorney? |

Do you understand what the lawyer is saying, and why? There is very little in the law that
cannot be explained so you have a general understanding why certain actions are being
taken. Communication with you and with others is essential to providing legal services,
you may wish to consider hiring another lawyer if you can't understand what he or she is saying.

Sherry Okon has been the staff paralegal for
Power Family Law
since July of 2003. She has a Clothing & Textiles degree from
Southwest Missouri State University and has completed the paralegal program at Collin County
Community College. Before becoming a paralegal, Sherry worked as a retail store manager,
administrative assistant and project manager. She is currently serving as Treasurer of the
Paralegal Association of Collin County.

What should I look for in a family attorney?
